Introduction
Ready Study Global LTD ("we", "us", "our"), Company Number 14329535, registered at 60 Tottenham Court Road, Office 265, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2EW, is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
We are a UK-based education consultancy supporting international students and UK residents who are exploring university and study options. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, store and protect personal information when you use our website, begin or complete an enquiry, contact us, or use our services.
We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
If you have questions about this policy or how we use your information, contact hello@readystudyglobal.com.
02
What information we collect
Information you provide through an enquiry
This may include your name, email address, WhatsApp or telephone number, country of residence, nationality, age range, immigration or citizenship status, study interests, academic background, qualifications, previous higher education, preferred destination, programme level, intended start date, budget, funding preferences and any message you choose to provide.
Information you provide later
If you choose to work with us, you may later provide application-related information or documents such as academic records, personal statements, references and identity documents. We do not request these documents through the initial two-step enquiry form.
Information collected automatically
This may include your IP address, browser and device information, operating system, pages visited, approximate interaction data, referring website, traffic source and cookie or similar technology data. See Section 9 for more information.
03
How we use your information
We use personal information only for specified purposes, including:
- responding to an enquiry and providing information about relevant education services;
- following up on a genuine enquiry when you completed step 1 and continued to step 2 but did not finish the form;
- linking a partial step 1 record to a later completed submission using the same enquiry ID;
- understanding your study goals and preparing personalised guidance or suitable options;
- supporting an application when you ask us to do so;
- maintaining website security, preventing abuse and troubleshooting failed or duplicate submissions;
- measuring and improving the website and enquiry process;
- meeting legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
A partial enquiry is not a marketing opt-in. We may contact you about the specific enquiry you started, but we do not add incomplete-form contacts to general newsletters or promotional lists unless you separately and actively choose to receive marketing.
We do not use the enquiry form to make solely automated decisions about university admission, fee status, Student Finance, immigration, scholarships or eligibility. Those decisions remain with the relevant institutions and public authorities.
04
Legal bases for processing
We select the legal basis that is appropriate to each purpose.
Legitimate interests
Used where necessary to respond to genuine enquiries, save step 1 after you have entered contact details and deliberately selected Continue, link partial and completed submissions, protect the website, prevent duplication or abuse, and improve the enquiry service. We limit the information captured at step 1, display a notice before capture, keep incomplete enquiries for a shorter period, do not use them for unrelated marketing and allow you to object.
Steps before a contract or contractual necessity
May apply when you ask us to assess options, provide application support or deliver an agreed service.
Consent
Used where consent is specifically required, including optional marketing communications and certain disclosures to institutions or partners. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Legal obligation
Applies where we must retain, disclose or otherwise process information to comply with applicable law.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object. Contact us using the details in Section 13 and we will assess your request.
05
Sharing your information
We may share personal information with carefully selected recipients where necessary:
Universities, institutions and application platforms
Only when you have asked us to proceed and the disclosure is necessary for your enquiry or application. Where consent is required, we obtain it before sharing.
Website hosting
Including Vercel, which hosts the website.
Form processing
Including Formspree, which processes partial and completed website form submissions and sends notifications to us.
Email and communications providers
Providers that deliver and store messages relating to your enquiry.
Analytics and consent management
Including Google Analytics and CookieYes, subject to the consent choices available on the website.
Professional advisers, regulators or authorities
Where disclosure is necessary to obtain advice, establish or defend legal rights, prevent fraud or comply with law.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share a partial enquiry with universities merely because you completed step 1.
06
International transfers
Some service providers and potential study destinations are located outside the United Kingdom. This may include providers operating in the United States and education institutions in the United States, Canada, Australia, the European Economic Area and the United Arab Emirates.
Where UK personal information is transferred internationally, we use an available lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another permitted mechanism.
07
How long we keep your information
We keep identifiable personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to legal, regulatory, security and dispute-related requirements.
Incomplete step 1 enquiries
Normally kept for up to 90 days from capture if you do not complete the form, reply to us or otherwise continue the enquiry.
Completed enquiry and contact records
Normally kept for up to 3 years from the last meaningful interaction, unless a shorter period is appropriate.
Application records
Normally kept for the duration of the application process and up to 2 years after completion or closure.
Marketing consent and suppression records
Kept while consent remains valid and for as long as necessary to demonstrate or respect your preferences.
Website analytics data
Retained according to the configured analytics retention period, currently up to 14 months.
At the end of the relevant period, information is deleted, securely destroyed or anonymised. You may request deletion earlier, subject to any overriding lawful reason to retain it.
08
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent.
To exercise a right, stop follow-up about an incomplete enquiry or ask us to delete a partial record, contact hello@readystudyglobal.com. We normally respond within one month, although the law allows extensions in limited circumstances.
09
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies. Non-essential analytics technologies are subject to the choices presented through our consent-management tool.
_ga and _ga_*
Google Analytics identifiers used to understand website usage, subject to the consent settings shown on the website.
Session storage for the two-step form
A temporary unique enquiry ID and a flag help prevent duplicate notifications and link a later completed form to the earlier partial record. This information is not used for advertising.
You can manage cookies through the website consent tool and your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent parts of the enquiry form from working as intended.
For more information, see our Cookie Policy.

Children and students under 18
Prospective students may be under 18. We take additional care when processing children's information.
If you are under 18, you should ask a parent or legal guardian for permission before providing personal information through our website or engaging our services. When we become aware that an enquiry is from a child, we may pause the enquiry and seek appropriate confirmation before proceeding.
Parents and guardians may contact us to ask about, correct or request deletion of a child's information by emailing hello@readystudyglobal.com.
11
Data security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Measures include encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls, restricted administrative access and the use of service providers with appropriate security arrangements.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach, we assess and respond to it in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
12
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, technology, providers, legal obligations or data practices change. The current version and its update date will be displayed on this page.
Where a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice where required.
