Australia destination guide

Compare studying in Australia.

Build a realistic route by checking the exact CRICOS-registered course, provider, campus, full cost, travel distance and current official visa conditions.

Ready Study Global provides education and application guidance. Universities and other providers decide admission. Government authorities decide visas and immigration permission. Tuition, deposits and external costs must be confirmed with the relevant provider or authority.

Questions to compare

Start with the questions that can change the route.

  1. 01

Is the exact provider, campus and course registered for international students on CRICOS?

  2. 02

How do the city, travel distance, intake and programme calendar fit your circumstances?

  3. 03

What tuition, insurance, accommodation, travel and external costs apply to the exact route?

  4. 04

Which Student and Temporary Graduate visa conditions apply to your course and circumstances?

Education system

Compare the qualification, provider and registered course together.

Australian higher education includes universities and other registered providers offering undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes. International applicants should confirm the exact course, campus, award, CRICOS registration and provider requirements rather than relying only on the institution name.

Undergraduate study

Bachelor’s programmes vary by field, professional requirements and provider. Confirm the course duration, credit structure, placements and final qualification.

Postgraduate coursework

Coursework master’s and graduate qualifications can have different entry routes, professional outcomes and timetables. Check whether prior study or experience is required.

Research degrees

Research master’s and doctoral routes normally require a research fit, supervision and separate academic approval. Funding and visa work conditions can differ from taught study.

Pathway and packaged study

A packaged route may combine English, foundation, diploma or degree study. Verify every component, progression condition, provider and Confirmation of Enrolment.

Application and provider checks

Check the provider process before preparing documents.

Applications are normally assessed by the provider or its authorised route, while the Student visa is a separate government process. Confirm the exact admission, English-language, financial, health-insurance and document requirements for the selected course.

  • Confirm the legal provider name, campus, exact course and CRICOS code.
  • Verify the qualification, duration, delivery mode and any professional accreditation.
  • Check entry requirements, English evidence, Genuine Student preparation and document deadlines.
  • Confirm tuition, deposit, refund terms, Overseas Student Health Cover and external costs.
  • Check the intake calendar, accommodation plan, travel distance and practical arrival requirements.

Costs

Use current, scoped information or a safe fallback.

A broad country average can hide major differences between programmes, providers, cities and accommodation choices. Confirm the full practical cost before relying on a budget.

Safe comparison guidance

Tuition, deposit and provider charges

Tuition varies by institution, programme, level and intake. Confirm the current fee, deposit schedule and refund terms directly with the university or provider before applying or paying.

A current, scoped public figure is not published here. Confirm the latest position with the relevant provider or government authority.

Living, insurance and travel costs

Living costs vary significantly by city, accommodation, lifestyle and personal circumstances. Build a destination-specific budget using current official and provider information.

A current, scoped public figure is not published here. Confirm the latest position with the relevant provider or government authority.

Visa and post-study information

Official routes are separate from admission.

RSG does not decide immigration eligibility or provide legal advice. Use current government information and obtain regulated advice where your circumstances require it.
