Introduction
This policy explains how Ready Study Global LTD, Company Number 14329535, uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies on readystudyglobal.com.
Cookies are not the only technology covered by this policy. Browser technologies such as local storage and session storage can also store or access information on your device.
For information about our broader use of personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
02
How consent and necessary storage work
We use CookieYes to present cookie choices and remember the preference you select. Non-essential analytics storage should be used only in accordance with those choices.
Some storage is necessary to provide a feature you actively request, maintain security or remember your consent preference. Necessary storage cannot always be disabled through the consent banner because the relevant feature may not work without it.
03
Technologies we use
cookieyes-consent
Provider: CookieYes
Stores your cookie preference and a consent identifier so the website can remember and apply your choices. CookieYes normally remembers a consent choice for up to one year, although browser settings or deletion may shorten this period.
rsg_lead_id and rsg_partial_lead_sent
Technology: browser sessionStorage
Used only on the two-step enquiry form. A temporary enquiry ID links a partial step 1 record to a later completed form, while a second value prevents duplicate partial notifications. The values remain in the browser session and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
rsg_user_type
Technology: browser localStorage
Remembers whether you selected the study-abroad or UK-resident route so the website can preserve the relevant journey. It contains only the route label, not your name or contact details, and remains until you clear website data or it is overwritten by a later choice.
_ga and _ga_*
Provider: Google Analytics 4
Used to distinguish users and maintain session state so we can understand website usage and improve pages. Google states that the default cookie expiry is up to two years, although browser restrictions, our configuration or your cookie choices may shorten this. Our configured Analytics data retention period is currently up to 14 months.
04
Analytics
Google Analytics helps us understand matters such as pages viewed, general traffic source, device category and interaction with website features. Analytics information can be personal information even where it does not directly identify you by name.
Analytics cookies are non-essential. You can reject or later withdraw analytics consent through the cookie preference control above.
We do not use the current website configuration for advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies.
05
The two-step enquiry form
When you enter the required contact and study-goal information and select Continue to step 2, the website sends the step 1 information to our form processor. The page displays a notice explaining this before you continue.
The sessionStorage values described above support this requested form function. They do not contain the full form response and are not a substitute for the record transmitted to Formspree. For details about the personal information sent and how long we keep it, see the Privacy Policy.
06
Third-party services
CookieYes
Supplies the consent banner and stores your preference.
Google Analytics
Supplies website measurement services when analytics use is permitted by your choices.
Google Fonts
Supplies web-font files and may receive technical request information such as your IP address when fonts load. We do not list a specific Google Fonts cookie unless it is detected in the current website configuration.
Vercel
Hosts the website and may process technical request information required to deliver and protect the service.
Formspree
Processes website form submissions. The form submission itself is described in our Privacy Policy rather than treated as an analytics cookie.
07
Managing storage and cookies
You can accept, reject or adjust non-essential categories using the CookieYes preference control. You can also delete or block cookies and browser storage through your browser settings.
Deleting storage may cause the banner to ask for your preference again. Blocking sessionStorage may prevent the two-step enquiry form from reliably linking or deduplicating submissions.
08
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when technologies, providers, settings or legal requirements change. The update date at the top shows the current version.
The cookie banner and settings panel may display more current scan information where a provider changes a cookie name or duration.
