This Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care is a 60-credit qualification (equivalent to one A-Level). The objective is to equip learners with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the health and social care sector at a support worker, senior support worker or care assistant level. The qualification consists of 6 modules and assignments for a combined total of 60 credits.

Assignments
Assessment is carried out through completely online written assignments, instead of traditional examinations. For this course, there are 6 written assignments, each requiring approximately 2,000–3,000 words.
